CLASSIXX
Tyler Blake and Michael David, childhood friends, started a DJ duo in the suburbs of LA and by their early twenties Classixx began to redefine the sound for the Los Angeles electronic music scene. Changing it from the banger-driven Electro that had been dominating dance floors, to their smooth blend of disco, new wave, funk, house, and indie rock catching the ears of music aficionados, fans and artists alike. Recent remixes for groundbreaking and diverse artists include Phoenix, Mayer Hawthorne, Fischerspooner, Groove Armada, Drop the Lime and Major Lazer made Classixx “staples in DJ sets all over the world”. Pitchfork Media wrote that the duo gave Phoenix’s  ”Lisztomania” “a gorgeously pillowy synth-disco framework”. The Los Angeles Times called it “pure disco cotton candy”.Following the release of their debut hit single, “I’ll Get You” featuring Jeppe (Junior Senior), in the summer of 2009 on Paris based Kitsune Records, Classixx is now prepping their debut album for release this winter.

BANG GANG DJS
Individually they’re awesome - collectively they’re unstoppable. The crew that makes up this brilliantly wacky ensemble known as Bang Gang DJs are Jaime Doom, Gus Da Hoodrat, Dangerous Dan, DJ Damage and Ajax, along with maitre d’ Nolan Nolan. All five have played a part in welding the past, the present and the future of partying into one big ball of fun. They create a epic party atmosphere with their bright and fantastic sense of style, seen in their clothing and the artwork they produce (for their label Bang Gang 12”) Plus, the effect they have on their crowded young dancefloor completes the package. These boys are a force to be reckoned with.

POOLSIDE
No one captures the new sound of Summer better than Poolside and everyone has noticed. Their first song was debuted by Aeroplane in his January 2011 mix for BBC Radio 1 and they were off and running. They had a No. 1 single on Juno Download, No. 2 on Beatport’s Indie Dance / Nu Disco, and No. 7 Best Selling Record on  Juno.co.uk  before selling out.  The Los Angeles based duo craft music in their Pool House-turned-Recording Studio and spend their time honing their many musical passions into what they make best…Daytime Disco. Expect a new single this Fall and a full-length album in Spring. The stars are aligned and the future is very, very bright for Poolside.

COSMIC KIDS
Cosmic Kids DJ’d their first party in 2006 with The Rapture and DJ AM. Since that inaugural gig, they’ve DJ’d alongside LCD Soundsystem, Holy Ghost!, Juan Maclean, Dâm Funk, Crystal Castles, Digitalism, DJ Harvey, Little Boots, Classixx, and Steve Aoki. Cosmic Kids EP out on Throne of Blood has met the DJ world with a very great reception.Cosmic Kids Ron Poznansky and Dan Terndrup didn’t meet in outer space as their DJ moniker may indicate, but the story is still equally as good. They met in a high school classroom meant for kids who had trouble paying attention. They bonded over their love of classic rock and right out of high school they both volunteered to work at the Los Angeles radio station KCRW. Known for its eclectic programming, the friends were exposed to all different kinds of music, and began collecting and consuming records, feeding their ever-expanding appetite for music. They’ve come a long way in five years and the sky is the limit for Cosmic Kids.

ACID GIRLS
Acid Girls are living the (American) blogger’s dream: they went straight from hosting one of the most influential music blogs to DJing parties all over the world and are recently receiving more and more praise for their own productions and remixes. Similar to Duke Dumont or Jokers of the Scene, their productions have a very wide range of influences but always build on the roots of classic techno.

PLASTIC PLATES
While the name Plastic Plates may be new, alias of deejay/producer of Felix Bloxsom, he’s by no means a novice to the music world, as studio drummer and session musician he’s played and recorded with Empire of the Sun, The Presets, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Sam Sparro, Christina Aguilera, and Jamie Lidell. This Sydney, Australia wunderkind has seemed to have appeared out of nowhere with amazing remix productions for the likes of Adele, Body Language, Sia, & Midnight Juggernauts. With remix and gig inquiries pouring in left and right just in the last month, he’s on his way to stardom.

SAMO SOUND BOY
Samo Sound Boy’s powerful live sets and original productions have brought him to the forefront of today’s global club scene. His introduction as an artist came in 2005 when Samo spent a year living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There he learned to DJ from experimental cumbia producers at the now infamous Fugees 99, a Nigerian-owned dancehall in the city’s south end. Compounding those influences with a love of crunk and ghetto house, Samo emerged to create a uniquely rugged but soulful sound of his own. With his second EP released through Palms Out Sounds, another for Trouble & Bass, and more killer remixes Samo is only getting started spreading his club aesthetic described as: “Weird, banging, and beautiful. Like a shortwave radio recording of all the best stations at once.”

AMEN BROTHER
Amen Brother; the brainchild of Vin Sol and 5kinAndBone5.  The two have already been generating considerable buzz with their remix of Brenmar’s Tasting (Let Me Know) being featured in XLR8R Magazine.  It was only natural that the two DJ/producers linked up and solidified their creative efforts under a fresh moniker; Amen Brother.  The two deftly weave a sonic tapestry touching on everything under the sun from bass music, Italo disco, jacked out house, and garage.  Basically, anything to make you move.
Their remix of Poolside’s “Do You Believe” just released on Scion AV + collectively they’ve had an official Fool’s Gold release and an upcoming release on Sinden’s imprint Grizzly making this team a formidable duo to keep your eyes on.
